Big Bear Yoga’s Teacher Training
Big Bear Yoga’s Teacher Training is for you if you want to teach yoga. It is also for you if you have the desire to deepen your yoga practice and knowledge or learn about the yogic lifestyle.
The Yoga Teacher Training will provide you with the basic knowledge to teach Hatha Yoga, and at the completion of the course you will be certified by Big Bear Yoga. You can then apply for a Yoga Alliance 200 hour RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) certificate.
Big Bear Yoga’s Teacher Training course is a special offering that includes group classes, assistant teaching, observation, phone and online classes. Self-study, volunteering and homework is a part of the course requirements. The flexibility of the Big Bear Yoga Teacher Training is so students can learn the fundamentals but also dive into the parts of yoga that each student is interested in and drawn to.
Requirements: Computer access with internet, free goggle+ account for google hangout access, online video accessibility, and in-person for required classes. The Big Bear Yoga Teacher Training is for students
- Who would like to deepen their own, personal yoga practice
- Who are interested in exploring yoga, including philosophy, yogic lifestyle, pranayama (breath work), Ayuveda and meditation
- Who want to be able to teach group and private yoga classes
- Experienced yoga teachers who want to continue their study of yoga
- Yoga teachers desiring to teach at Big Bear Yoga are especially encouraged to take the teacher training
